Privacy Policy

SmartHom Co is a Miami-Dade security and smart home installer, a division of Sunnyside International Enterprise LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We operate smarthom.co. Our contact information is at the bottom of this policy.

When you use our website or submit an enquiry, we may collect the following:

• Information you provide: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, property type, service requested, and any message you include in the form.
• Website usage and advertising data: when enabled, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel receive browsing and interaction information, which may include pages visited, referring pages, browser and device information, identifiers, and approximate location. Our custom enquiry events include bounded service and form-location categories, rather than the personal fields you enter in the form.
• Technical request information: the enquiry endpoint uses an IP address to limit repeated submissions. Hosting and measurement providers may also process request information and cookies or similar technologies.

The enquiry form does not request payment information. Project scope and pricing are confirmed in a proposal; service visits and repairs are quoted separately.

• Review and respond to your project or service request and discuss next steps.
• Attempt to send an email acknowledging your enquiry.
• Measure website interactions and advertising results using the measurement providers described below.
• Limit repeated form submissions and operate the website.

The website uses the following service providers:

• Resend — processes form information to send the enquiry notification to SmartHom and an acknowledgement email to you.
• Google Analytics — website usage and interaction measurement when configured.
• Google Ads — advertising and conversion measurement when configured. Phone-link events measure clicks, rather than whether a call connected.
• Meta — the Meta Pixel measures page views and accepted enquiry events on the production website.
• Website hosting providers — process website requests and technical logs.

These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.

Enquiry information is processed in our email correspondence and by the service providers described above. For questions about retention or a request to delete your information, contact info@smarthom.co.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we have about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate
• Request that we delete your information
• Opt out of marketing contacts
• Opt out of the use of your data for advertising, to the extent that applies

To make a privacy request, email info@smarthom.co with the subject line "Privacy request".

When enabled, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel may use cookies or similar technologies for usage and advertising measurement. The current website does not provide an on-site cookie preference control.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and review the privacy controls offered by Google and Meta. The enquiry form does not require analytics or advertising measurement to submit your request.

Our site is intended for adults making decisions about property security. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email info@smarthom.co and we will delete it.

We protect the information you submit with reasonable safeguards. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that data transmitted over the internet is fully safe from unauthorized access.

We may update this policy as the website changes. The "Last updated" date records changes to this page.
